Initially released by the California-based record label Tundra Dubs in May 2011, "The Bit" is a simultaneously aggressive and ambient response to both Pink Floyd's "The Wall" and Joan of Arc's "The Gap." The album was recorded in various spots across a rural college campus and then distorted in the darkness of a dorm room throughout 2010, showcasing my early efforts to produce organic experimental soundscapes.

This seventh-anniversary re-issue features remastered audio of the original album, along with a bonus track from an unreleased 2015 noise compilation.
